This term’s topic is musical madness so we have to make instruments like string instruments or electric instruments. This term I have been learning to make instruments but first i have been making maracas and then we played with recorders. Then we made music with the maracas and the recorders. And it is three more days until it’s my teacher’s birthday. Six more days until it is the film festival day and it starts at 6:30 and the other movies is at the Sylvia Park. First on Wednesday last week the year 2s and 3s went to the hall before both of the bells rang when they both rang we went to the hall and waited for a little then we went on the on the large noisy bus. Next as we went on the bus it was noisy then I sat by my friend Suade then the bus  driver drove us to Sylvia park hoyts. Meanwhile when we went in the cinemas we went to extreme screen and before that we saw Tamaki Primary sitting down. First when the the two bells rang I headed back to class and then my teacher did the roll. After the roll we did the karakia, the mihi and a song. Then the teacher went to get a bucket of recorders and gave them all to everyone in my class.

Next we all got a recorder and had a turn at blowing it there were five notes and the recorders was as loud as a broken speaker. Eventually we went to the mat and waited a little bit. Until Then we had to get a partner.

After that we got a partner and that partner was           Jermaine and we went to a table. Looked at two                       notes and those two notes were C and D. Just Then we sat down on the mat and waited for the next thing.

Finally we marched to the sink group by group, as we marched there we had to blow one of the notes. Then we put the recorder that we had in the sink to get washed. At the end we went back to the mat and did everything for today.

First  we waited for the two bells to ring. Then when they both rang and we made a straight line. Just then we went marching down the corridor past the classes and into the hall. Then we sat down and I felt happy and a little nervous.

Next when we arrived in the hall we sat down for the immersion assembly. Until then they sang the musical madness song. Then it was team 1 was on and they played snap, they were learning about how they feel like in songs.

After That team 2 was on and one of the teachers had a little guitar and the guitar was as little as a chromebook and she sang in the jungle. In the mean time team 3 was up and In that movie we learnt about making up stories but with songs.

After a while team 4 was up and in their video they had a karaoke battle while they driv to school when they arrived at school and they parked right by Mr J and then as they sang the song they looked at Mr J and he put on a song in his van.

Finally it was team 5 got a couch and pretended to be a family and three teachers were adopted and the whole family and they got some popcorn and opened it up, until then they got a cup each and Mr Wiseman put popcorn in each cup and they all watched the first part of the lion king and there were different songs on it. At the end we went back to class.

When the second bell rang in the morning the whole of the school went to the court. Then Mr Burt got the microphone and he got out twelve year seven and eight seniors. Next we headed across the pedestrian crossing on to riverside road on the foot path then as soon as we got to riverside reserve and sang some Maori songs. The net was as big for twelve people we  got about seventeen flounder and Kauri Flats School only got four. then we went back to school and we headed back to class.

The rocket ship has a chip in the centre and a fan on the bottom of the space ship. My rocket is faster than ussain bolt. The body is like a blue beehive and the top of it is shiny but it doesn't look like gold and my bottom of it is green. There are some circles by the top.

I marched towards the rocket ship and I felt nervous and a little bit lucky because it was my first time in a spaceship.The rocket was as massive as the sky tower. I needed to go up ladders to the top. Then when I got to the top I pressed the button then 3 2 1 blastoff the spaceship went way in outer space and I always wanted to go in space.

Finally I got to outer space and I flew to the largest planet in our solar system Jupiter but I flew to the great red spot and I saw a raging storm! So I flew to another planet to very hot Venus and I found out that it was too hot for anyone so I flew to Uranus and it was cold so I flew to the 27 moons that Uranus has. Then I took a flight to mars the red planet but first I flew to the 2 moons in mars Phobos and Deimos then he flew into mars and it had deserts but there was no water. After that I flew to earth’s moon but it was going to explode so I flew to Pluto and it was far away so I flew back to earth.

A Trip to the Stardome!

Yesterday, all the Year 3s and Year 4s got on a bus to go to the Stardome.  All of team 3 went to gather in the hall we had a singing contest and after that we all hopped on the noisy bus. Then as soon as we got on the bus we played games. I was so excited and amazed about going to the stardome!

At the Stardome, we learned some really cool things about our solar system.  As soon as we got inside we went into a room full of chairs and we had to sit down and listen to john he’s a scientist. After that we had a cool activity so we had to get in our color groups. Meanwhile all of the team 3’s went inside a large sphere when there was a fake alien trip that looked like a realistic trip.    

When we weren’t in the Stardome, we were having fun outside. Meanwhile as soon as we got there we gathered in and had some morning tea and then we had a play on the park for an hour then when it was one hour later it was team 3’s turn.Then when we got there we went on the park there was a train,a flying fox, a house that we could climb in, spider web ropes and other cool stuff. My favourite ride was the flying fox but the sad thing before was that my best friend suade was on it then his cousin pushed it too hard so he fell over. After that i went on the spider web ropes and i was scared  until i got in the middle.

After all this, we headed back to Point England School.

Finally we went back on the bus and we went past all of streets back to pt england school. As soon as we got there we went back to class and we got our lunch. Then when the second bell rang we went to go and play.

On my planet it has a pizza man that’s actually a pizza a devil fork that looks like cactus,a jumbo tree a cloud that’s all the way on the lime green grass. A blasting water tornado saturn that looks like uranus, cactus that has eyeballs and a shooting star that’s on the green lawn  and a eiffel tower with no no city.

the sun is the largest star in the solar system. however there are many stars like it in the wider universe the earth is just the right distance from the sun that our planet is not to hot or cold. the light from the sun takes eight minutes to reach earth and gives life to plants. astronauts will never be able to land on the sun as it reaches 5500 degrees Celsius. 100 times hotter then humans can stand the sheer size of the sun forces all the planets in the solar system to orbit around it born five billion years ago. the sun has been producing heat and light for a very long time

Begin writing here: Once apon a time there lived a outstanding astronaut that really loved space so he decided to go to space. Then as soon he got there he landed on Mercury the closest planet to the Sun. next he said “Mercury was to boring” so he went back in the spaceship and he went to Venus the hottest planet. After that he hopped out of the shuttle and as soon as he hopped out he said “this is way too hot”so he went back in the spaceship and flew all the way to Jupiter the biggest planet. finally he went around Jupiter suddenly he saw a red spot and he knew that it was the great red spot then he went there and he saw a green head it was i an alien and it said “what are you doing on my planet” then the astronaut was scared so he went in the spaceship and flew back to earth.

On Thursday room 14 made delicious fairy bread. First we had to sit on the mat and wait for all the ingredients to go on the tables the ingredients were butter’ sprinkles’ and bread. Next we went to the tables and put a glove on one hand. then  our teacher  got the plastic plates and knifes. Then we made them. First we got a piece of bread on a plate and we buttered the bread meanwhile miss davis got four new plates with sprinkles and she put them at four tables and  we dipped them on the buttered bread then we ate them i was eating it fast it was delicious.the end
